Animatic – Panic Buying and Mandatory Masks

This is my first attempt at producing an animatic, which is based off a story skit idea I had, while I was out grabbing groceries.

I made the animatic using Clip Studio Paint and while making it I was also learning how to use the animation tools in CSP for the first time. It took some getting used to but I feel like after spending about 20 hours completing the animatic, while simultaneously learning how to animate in CSP, made that time spent worth it for me.

As you can tell I did not do a whole lot of cleaning up and revising, unless I had to (in order to make sure the frame read clearly) so there are some areas I don’t completely love drawing wise, but thats just how the storyboarding game works right?

Also in case you are wondering why there is no audio, well in order to do it right I would need to spend the time to record audio and design it, which at this stage I just didn’t want to do. But who knows, maybe one day i’ll upload a version with audio…sure, that could happen.

Anyways if you like what you see and you would like to hire me as a storyboard artist for your next project, please contact me.
