These storyboards are the result of a 3D storyboarding experiment, to see how it would work creating storyboards using 3D.
I like trying different approaches to creating art, and I certainly enjoyed the challenge.
As you can see from the storyboards, it’s obviously possible to storyboard in 3D, but in terms of the output speed, nothing beats 2D. Having said that, I am very happy with how cinematic 3D boards can look, which may make creating boards in 3D worth the extra time, especially when the boards are being used for pitching.
